The KERN PCB 1000-2 precision balance is a compact IoT-ready laboratory balance for versatile use. It has a weighing capacity of 1000 g, an accuracy of 0.01 g and an easy-to-read LCD display. The precision balance has a number of features such as automatic calibration function for constant accuracy, automatic zero adjustment, energy-saving automatic power-off and tare function. The pre-tare function allows the weight of the container to be subtracted from the total weighing.
With Industry 4.0 and the built-in KERN Universal Port (KUP), the balance can be easily connected to external devices. This allows the connection of KUP interface adapters such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN or Ethernet. The adapters are particularly easy to use, as they can be connected simply, without opening the balance housing and without time-consuming installation. With the interface adapters, measurement data can be conveniently transferred to networks, PCs, smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers and other devices. Control commands and data input can be sent to the balance via the connected devices.
The recipe function allows combining multiple ingredients in a recipe in a given quantity and automatically calculating the weight of each ingredient.
