The KERN MPS-M personal scale is an ergonomic floor scale for weighing in healthcare. The intuitive keypad and large LC display allow particularly fast operation without interrupting the routine. For added safety when weighing patients with reduced mobility, the MPS-M has a non-slip surface and rubberised feet. The personal scale also has an extended feature set to assist medical staff during examinations.
Extended features of the KERN MPS-M personal scale
To improve measurement accuracy and aid diagnosis, the MPS-M floor scale has a practical range of additional functions.
If the height of the patient is known, the MPS-M can automatically calculate the appropriate body mass index from the height and the determined body weight using the BMI function.
If there are preloads, the tare function can also be used to tare the patient's own weight, so that only the patient's actual weight is displayed later. This function is particularly suitable for weighing babies without separating them from their parents.
The personal scale also has a hold function which allows the measured result to be frozen on the display for later processing.
