Commissioning instructions:
1. Screw the tank cover on the tank to ensure proper air tightness.
2. Connect one end of the short hose with the filter inserted to the
vacuum' connector on the top of the appliance.
3. Connect the other end of the short tube to the connector next to the label 'vacuum' on the tank lid.
4. Connect one end of the long tube to the connector labelled 'patient' on the container lid.
5. Connect the other end of the long tube to one end of the plastic connecting tube, the connecting tube
the other end of the connecting tube to the probe.
6. Connect the plug of the instrument's lead to the mains, but only after you have checked it,
that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the label on the bottom of the instrument.
7. Switch on the instrument by pressing the green on/off button.
8. The suction flow can be adjusted by turning the 'suction control' knob and measured by means of the
vacuum meter on the top of the unit.
9. It is recommended that 500 ml litres of water are suctioned before the patient is suctioned for the first time.
10. The aspirated fluid is transferred to the reservoir and if the volume aspirated exceeds the reservoir
capacity, the overflow valve will stop the suction.
11. Switch off the device immediately.
The device should only be used when connected to an electrical mains supply in compliance with the CEI EN 60601.1. in force.
