It has adjustable chest resistance. Ambu's hygienic system protects the practitioner from cross infection during mouth and nose breathing. The airway opens only when the head is in the correct position. The mechanical display of the Ambu Defib Trainer provides feedback on the volume of air being inflated, the depth of chest compression and also indicates gastric inflation and improper hand position.
- Defibrillation: equipped with 2 electrodes (apex and sternum), defibrillation up to 360J.
- It can be used with manual, semi-automatic and automatic defibrillators, and with a paddle.
- Pacing: transcutaneous pacing possible.
- Carotid pulse: Carotid pulse can be palpated during chest compressions and can be simulated with a manual pulse bellows.
- Software: works with Manikin Management Module software based on browser/web usage. The central interface of the Manikin Management Module provides all the information and data related to the training, such as compression depth, correct hand position, ventilation volume, gastric inflation.
- It has individually programmable scenarios.
- Individual assessments can be made after group work.
