Commissioning instructions:
1. Screw the tank cover onto the tank to ensure adequate air tightness.
2. Connect one end of the short hose to the connector on the front of the unit.
3. Connect the other end of the short tube to the connector next to the label 'vacuum' on the tank lid.
4. Connect one end of the long tube to the connector labelled 'patient' on the container lid.
5. Connect the other end of the long tube to one end of the plastic connecting tube, the connecting tube
the other end of the connecting tube to the probe.
6. Connect the plug of the instrument lead to the mains, but only after you have checked it,
that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the label on the bottom of the instrument.
7. Switch on the instrument by pressing the green on/off button.
8. The suction flow rate can be adjusted by turning the regulator and measured by means of the
vacuum gauge on the front of the appliance.
9. Before first use, it is recommended to aspirate 500 ml litres of water before starting suctioning the patient.
10. The aspirated fluid is transferred to the reservoir and if the volume aspirated exceeds the reservoir
capacity, the overflow valve will stop the suction.
11. Switch off the device immediately.
The device must only be used in accordance with CEI EN 60601.1. in force.
