The Salmonella typhi Antigen Rapid Test (stool) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Salmonella typhi antigens in human stool samples, providing results in 5 minutes.
The appearance of a coloured stripe in the test zone indicates a positive result, while the absence of a coloured stripe indicates a negative result. As a control of the procedure, a coloured stripe appears in the control (C) region indicating the correct functioning of the test, confirming that the sample volume and absorption were adequate.
