The Abbott ID NOW™ Influenza A & B 2 Test Kit is specifically designed for use with the manufacturer's ID NOW™ PoC test device and is performed with nasal or nasopharyngeal swabs. The molecular test makes it possible to detect acute influenza A or B infections directly at the point-of-care within 5 - 13 minutes. The use of unnecessary antibiotics is effectively reduced thanks to the test and resistance is prevented.
