The MESI mTABLET ABI is an innovative, expandable diagnostic system for measuring the ankle-brachial index in adult patients. The system consists of a tablet, a charging station and four tubeless cuff units. The cuffs transmit the measured values in real time to the MESI mTABLET device via Bluetooth. The tubeless cuffs are particularly easy to use, as the cables do not get tangled when they are put on. The imprint and colour coding also makes it easy to assign the blood pressure cuffs to the appropriate limbs.
With the MESI mTABLET you can display and evaluate the data numerically and graphically. If required, the values can be printed or sent by e-mail to a specialist colleague. As the tablet is specifically designed for medical areas, it meets all the necessary requirements.
The MESI mTABLET ABI can also be used for other examinations with the help of the expansion accessories. The extension kits include test equipment such as the MESI SpO2 module with base unit and sensor, or the patient cable for 12 lead resting ECG recordings. Suitable applications for the MESI mTABLET are available separately.
All measurement results can be managed and evaluated with the tablet. If necessary, they can even be forwarded to other doctors for further treatment. The uniform format prevents misunderstandings and saves valuable time when making a diagnosis.
With the help of plethysmography, MESI mTABLET ABI allows professional assessment and recording of the ankle-brachial index in adult patients. Thanks to the colour coding and clear labelling of each blood pressure cuff, the four cuff system is safe and easy to use. As a result, testing can be performed by non-medical staff.
The ankle-brachial index is determined in 2 steps. First, the blood pressure is measured in both arms to see which arm has the higher blood pressure, and then the ABI is measured taking into account the data collected in the first step.
