With advanced breath tracking technology - A.V.T. (Advanced Valve Technology) (when used with a mouthpiece). Efficient use of medication, minimal medication loss!
The Advanced Valve Technology is an improved version of the V.V.T. technology, designed to ensure maximum treatment efficiency.
Dual valve technology that allows the patient to inhale the maximum amount of medicine. Optimises drug flow during inhalation and reduces drug loss during exhalation. By synchronising aerosol flow and respiration, the therapeutic effect of the inhaled medicine is optimised.
(Note: synchronisation of breathing is only possible with the use of a mouthpiece.)
When inhaled, the drug solution flows into the airways, when exhaled, the built-in valve closes thanks to the breath-tracking technology, so that the drug solution does not flow unnecessarily into the airspace. This makes medication use more efficient.
Most of the medicine is broken down into even smaller particles, allowing for more optimal inhalation.
Inhalation:
The drug pumped into the drug channel mixes with the compressed air (aerosol) generated by the compressor, passing through the distribution barrier, ready for inhalation.
During inhalation, the valve on the inhalation roof (inhalation valve) opens, allowing air to enter the inhaler. The air mixes with the aerosol, which the patient inhales through the mouthpiece. At this stage the exhalation valve remains closed, preventing the aerosol from being wasted.
Exhalation:
When exhaling through the mouthpiece, the valve on the inhalation roof closes, preventing the aerosol from escaping. The aerosol remains in the inhaler and becomes available for the next inhalation cycle. The exhaled air exits the mouthpiece through the exhalation valve.
