GUARD has timer programs that stop the suction motor after 2, 4 or 8 hours. In addition, the unit has a built-in air quality monitor which, in automatic mode, controls the fan speed, i.e. the filter capacity. If the air quality deteriorates, the unit switches to a higher power setting, and when the air is clean again, the machine reduces the fan speed to a minimum, making the operation almost completely silent.
The unit's indicator light can be dimmed, so it can also be used at night in bedrooms. In this case, it is also advisable to set the unit to the lowest setting, as you do not have to expect unexpected increases in air pollution during the quiet of the night.
GUARD's small size and weight also make it ideal for those who want to use a single air purifier, carrying it around the kitchen, study or bedroom.
Pre-filter: catches larger contaminants. This filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, so it lasts for the lifetime of the unit.
H13 class HEPA filter: a high efficiency filter that can stop dirt as small as 0.1µm. So it is effective not only against common house dust, but also against pollen and even fungal spores.
The Airbi GUARD room air purifier is a true protector of the home, keeping the air in your room free of many harmful substances. The triple filtration system includes an H13 HEPA filter (99.95% efficient at filtering out pollen, house dust, mites, bacteria, viruses, etc.), a high quality activated carbon filter (absorbs gases and odours) and a physical pre-filter to trap larger particles drifting through the air.
Airbi GUARD can be operated in either manual or automatic mode. The automatic mode is very practical, as it adjusts the fan speed to the level of air pollution and automatically monitors the air cleanliness.
The manual mode offers two fan speed settings (high and low) and performs the task of cleaning the room air for a longer period of time. For example, when cooking, the high-speed alternative to the manual mode can be switched on.
The opposite is the need to clean the air in the bedroom at night, when a quiet environment is most likely to be required. In such cases, it is best to select the low fan speed option from the manual modes to ensure clean air is produced throughout the night.
The option of dimming the display brightness contributes greatly to the comfort of the sleep period, so that our well-deserved rest is as undisturbed as possible. The built-in timer offers a convenient option to switch off after 2, 4 or 8 hours of operation.
The Airbi GUARD display panel features control buttons and feedback on the selected settings, while the colour messages on the colour LED display provide quick information on the current air quality in the room. Blue indicates good air quality, orange indicates slightly deteriorating room air quality and red indicates very polluted air. In automatic mode, the fan blade rotation speed matches the colour variation of the LED display.
Thanks to its space-saving design, the Airbi GUARD is perfect for rooms up to 16 square metres, such as bedrooms or kitchens, and is easy to move due to its light weight (only 2 kg).
