Humidification evaporates the water naturally by air movement and thus prevents the release of minerals (scale) into the air.
Evaporation and air purification are achieved by means of a rotating disc system inside the unit, wetted over a large surface area, on which airborne contaminants are trapped and washed into the water.
Bacterial growth in the water is prevented by the use of BSS (Bio Silver Stone) (without chemicals), with the help of silver ions that are transferred from its surface to the water. As this water wets the entire surface of the disc, Airbi MAXIMUM thus captures and disposes of 99.9% of the bacteria in the air flow.
The BSS can be used in continuous operation for at least one year.
Plasma system - The unit also contains an ion generator, whose ions attack airborne viruses and toxins and destroy up to 99.9% of influenza viruses. This feature is optional for humidification and can be switched on and off by the user as required.
The ion generator is always active in the fast air purification with HEPA filter (Airpurify) mode.
Modes of operation - air purification with or without HEPA filter in automatic (based on humidity measurement), manual (high, medium, low fan speed) and night mode, and fast air purification with HEPA filter (Airpurify) without humidification.
The device continuously detects the cleanliness of the ambient air and informs you by means of blue, yellow and red colour indicators.
A built-in sensor monitors when the water in the tank has run out, flashing on the control panel and shuts down the unit.
An indication is also given when the HEPA filter or BSS is running out of life and needs to be replaced.
Airbi MAXIMUM is very efficient yet quiet (25 - 46dB) and has the added advantage of low power consumption (7 - 24 W).
