Using an adapter, the device can be operated from a mains socket using the mains voltage. It is important to use only original adapters manufactured for Microlife devices. Other models may have inadequate performance or provide an unstable 6 volt voltage.
When using an adaptor, the batteries do not need to be removed, they will be disconnected from the electrical circuit when the plug is inserted. If batteries are inserted instead of rechargeable batteries, they will not be charged by the adapter. Batteries (rechargeable batteries) must be charged in an external charger.
Technical data:
110-240 V AC 50/60 Hz
6 V 600 mA
The use of an adapter is recommended for frequent blood pressure measurements. In this case, the blood pressure monitor is powered directly from the mains and can be used without batteries. Important to note: When using an adapter, it is also advisable to keep batteries in the blood pressure monitor, as without batteries, unplugging the adapter will leave the device without power and erase the memory and the set time. The adapter plug also operates a switch in the device when connected, which disconnects the batteries, so they are not used. Remember to check the batteries from time to time! Using the adapter saves them and they will not run down for a very long time. However, the batteries in the blood pressure monitor may run out after a long time.
Correct connection sequence when using an adapter and batteries:
1, Plug the adapter into the socket and then connect it to the blood pressure monitor!
2, Take a measurement.
3, Unplug the adapter from the blood pressure monitor and only then unplug it from the socket!
If you do this, the blood pressure monitor will not be without power for a moment and the memory will not be erased.
