In biosensor measurement, the blood glucose meter detects the electrical changes that occur during the measurement reaction.
The device provides the possibility to record dietary and physical activity in addition to blood glucose results. The Dcont® NEMERE assesses the risk of developing hypoglycaemia based on the stored measurement results and displays the estimated HbA1c range.
They also have a display and strip-lighting function. In addition, the plastic housing of the device is coated with an antibacterial additive which has the advantage that biological contaminants, such as blood, cannot accumulate on the surface, possibly causing infection.
The measurement results can be sent directly to the Dcont mobile application via Bluetooth connection.
