Fast, portable, easy — our handheld easyTymp performs accurate tympanometry and ipsilateral reflex tests within seconds. easyTymp is not only fast it also eases the process of screening for all professionals: the device automatically increases the intensity of the four frequencies of the ipsilateral reflex test until it detects a reflex or reaches the maximum. With these automatic tests, even first-time users will get the most accurate results.
Very fast Middle Ear Measurements
The easyTymp is the ideal handheld device for middle ear screening tests. It performs reliable tympanometry and ipsi-lateral reflex tests within seconds. The intensity of the four frequencies of the ipsilateral reflex test is increased automatically until a reflex is detected or the maximum is reached.
easyTymp Plus and Pro Version
The easyTymp Plus and Pro Versions take the speed and ease of our impedance screener and add useful diagnostic test functions. Both enable contralateral acoustic reflex measure- ments with an extra long Contra Probe.
Test Protocols & Storage All available test protocols can be easily selected with one hand. Available test protocols: tympanometry with 226 Hz; ipsi- and contralateral reflexes (automatic or single intensity), reflex decay measurements and eustachian tube testing (ETF). The optional high frequency probe tone of 1 kHz is ideal for providing reliable results when testing newborns. The internal memory of the easyTymp stores more than 1000 measurements. With the impedance software, data can also be transferred to a PC.
