The Kern binocular microscope is a high quality binocular microscope with a 4-slot lens rotator equipped with a long-life, dimmable 3 W LED illumination. The height of the fully equipped cross stage can be adjusted on both sides using the coarse and fine focus knob. The pattern can be slid using the coaxial knob.
The four different lenses allow a wide range of applications. The microscope can be used, for example, in haematology and urology to examine blood and urine sediment. It can also be used to examine bacteria and cytopathogenic virus types. The microscope can even be used for dark-field examination of native blood.
