Blood pressure monitors
Blood pressure monitors are among the most commonly used diagnostic tools. In general, they can be divided into three basic groups: digital, aneroid and mercury.
The digital (automatic/semi-automatic) blood pressure monitor uses an electronic pressure sensor to measure blood pressure and displays the result on a screen. Modern blood pressure measurement technologies such as IntelliSense, ParrPlus, Smart Sense are designed to measure blood pressure as accurately and efficiently as possible. The advantage of digital devices is that they are easy to use and can therefore be used at home for regular blood pressure monitoring. There are two types, wrist and arm devices. As it is very important to use the right size cuff, we also offer children's and extra large sizes for the upper arm devices in addition to the standard size.
The mercury sphygmomanometer is the most traditional form of blood pressure monitor and an essential tool in clinical practice, but due to the toxic nature of its contents, it has been removed from everyday practice in many places. Aneroid hand-held sphygmomanometers are widely used in healthcare institutions because of their accurate measurements. They are easy to handle and safer to use as they do not contain mercury.
In addition to digital blood pressure monitors and aneroid sphygmomanometers, our product range includes 24-hour blood pressure monitors (ABPM), ABI systems, clinical blood pressure monitors, cuffs and accessories.

There are two types, wrist and arm devices. They work in the same way, but their accuracy may differ because the circumference of the wrist is smaller than that of the upper arm.
As it is very important to use the right size cuff, we offer in addition to the standard size, also children's and extra large sizes for the upper arm devices in our webshop.
The mercury sphygmomanometer is the most traditional form of blood pressure monitor and an essential tool for clinical practice. However, due to the toxic nature of its content, its use has been banned in some countries and other types of blood pressure monitors are used instead.
Aneroid hand-held sphygmomanometers are widely used in healthcare institutions because of their accurate measurements. They are easy to handle and safer to use as they do not contain mercury. Hand-held sphygmomanometers are exclusively anterograde and measure systolic and diastolic pressures using a stethoscope.
We also offer 24-hour blood pressure monitors (ABPM), ABI systems, clinical blood pressure monitors, cuffs and accessories.
